Our goal is to inspire the love of learning that will last a lifetime and provide each student with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. We aim to create responsible and compassionate citizens who are able to make positive contributions to their community and world.
Huntington Drive Elementary Murals
When you visit our campus at Huntington Dr. Elementary, you will be amazed to see the beautiful murals decorating the walls of our school. However, you will also be welcomed by our joyful employee Mr. Martin. Mr. Martin has been a staple of the school for many years and a leader in creating the murals that decorate our school.
In 2009, our 6th grade teachers had an idea to paint a mural at the school. Their students wanted to give back to the school and as a culminating gift they raised the funds to paint the mural. This began a tradition here at Huntington Drive Elementary, and to date, there are 8 murals painted throughout the school.
Every mural at the school has a different theme that tells you an interesting story. The process of the mural begins when Mr. Martin brainstorms with the students to create a theme; he then begins to sketch their ideas.
Huntington Drive Elementary is thankful for the inspiring murals that decorate the walls of our school, and look forward to the amazing ideas of our students.
